Canada Day Art Journal page

Hi everyone this is Mona back with a fun art journal page featuring the brand new Canada Day stamp set from Sunsational Crafts.
I started with making my background using several shades of blue paints for the sky then adhered brown cardstock for the ground. I die cut several strip of grass using a light green cardstock. Once my background was adhered into place I printed my digital image and coloured everything using my Spectrum  Noir markers. Now that everything was coloured I went on to modpodging everything into place, this makes it easier to add the shading around all the elements. I used my Faber Castell big brush marker to make all my shading and a white gel pen for my hi lights.
I hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial. If you have any questions about the products used you can just send me a message.

Latte Lover

Hi  this is Mona back with a fun art journal page using a new Sunsational Stamp set called
Love you Latte for the Summer Coffee Lover Blog Hop. Sunsational Crafts is a first time Super Sponsor  providing three prizes for this hop.

I started by adding gesso on my journal page then took a stencil and added 3 colours of Nuvo mousse     to make my background.

I fussy cut the three cups from the stamp set and coloured them in using my copics. I then cut out the sentiment and glued it on a piece of black cardstock to make it stand out. I then adhered everything in place.  This completes my journal page.

Hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial. I hope to see you again soon. Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy it to the Fullest

Hello this is Mona back with a fun card for the Summer lovers blog hop. I started  my card by cutting my card base with white  cardstock.

I had ordered this wonderful paper pad from Kat Scrappiness called cream and sugar  and cut out a rectangle using the   Stitched fancy scalloped rectangle die set to cover my card base. I proceeded by die cutting three coffee cups again using different pattern paper from the same paper pad and adhered them on my card base.  I then found a stamp with the sentiment from my stash and stamped it on white cardstock using my  lawn Fawn black jet ink pad then adhered it on a piece or pink patterned paper and added it to the top of my card. To finish off my card I adhered a few sequins from a cinnamon swirl sequin mix . This completes my card.

Thanks for stopping by .Hope to see you again soon.

It's been sooo long

Hi everyone this is Mona back again with another fun card featuring the Lola the giraffe stamp set from Kat Scrappiness. I really love this stamp set.
I started by die cutting GM stitched circle background plate twice one with the cork look paper and one with the teal circles.
Here I stamped the giraffe three times using Lawn Fawn jet black ink and fussy cut them keeping only the head . Once they were coloured I placed and adhered everything in place. I knew it needed a little something extra so I decided to stamp several butterflies again from the same stamp set and placed them randomly.
I stamped the sentiment and adhered it to my card and this completes my card for today. Hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial. Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon.

Fun Mosquito card

Hi my name is Mona back with a fun summer card idea using this fun digital stamp set called Minneskeeta from Sunsational Crafts.

I started my card by adhering the pattern paper from my stash onto my card base using the Best Glue Ever with no clog writing cap. This Glue is very sticky and requires so little Glue this is why I always use the no clog writing cap to make sure I add just a small amount and that the tip doesn't block. The Glue dries clear and holds really well. I also adhered both mosquitoes using the same Glue.

Here I took my Embellie gellie to add the sequin to my card it has the perfect  tackiness it’s strong enough to pick up the sequins and release them in the precise spot.

This completes my card for today hope you enjoyed my mini tutorial and looking forward to see you again soon. For your browsing convenience here is the link http://sunsationalstamps.com/product-category/digital-stamps for stamps and http://scraperfect.com/ For the Best Glue Ever and much more.

Canada Day card

Hi everyone this is Mona back with a fun card using Fireworks Couple from Sunsational Crafts. I first started by printing the digital stamps and used my Spectrum Noir markers to colour them in and then fussy cut them.

Once my image was cut I also used a grass die cut from my stash to make the grass, I then used my Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect  to adhere everything down. It needs a very little amount and very precise on where you drop the Glue when using the No clog writing cap also from ScraPerfect . This Glue is very tacky and holds really well and dries clear so no problem if it oozes out from under the image.

Feel free to brows http://sunsationalstamps.com/shop/for additional stamps
Or http://scraperfect.com/ for the Best Glue Ever or much more.
Thank you for stopping by see you again soon.

Let's hang out

Hi everyone this is Mona back with a fun card for Kat Scrappiness. I am featuring the brand new stamp set called  Lola the giraffe from Kat Scrappiness.
I wanted to try the masking techniques. I first started by stamping the giraffe on /inkadinkado-stamping-mask-paper-7x5-12-pkg with my Lawn fawn jet black ink and fussy cut it. I then stamped over and over the giraffe always masking the one I previously stamped until I got a full page.
I used my Spectrum Noir markers to colour in the image leaving one out to make him different. I then took my /stitched-fancy-scalloped-rectangle-dies-by-kat-scrappiness-new?variant=29024706888 to and die cut the largest one to adhere to my card base.then took my panel of giraffes and adhered it to the top of my scallop rectangle. Now for the fun part colouring my remaining giraffe using my favourite colour and stamping and colouring a few butterflies to tie in the colours.
Hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial. Thanks for dropping by and see you again soon.

Altered small water bucket

Hi everyone this is Mona with a fun project altering a small water pail using this bucket from the dollar store and sequins also from the dollar store.

Here I took my Best Glue Ever and my Embellie Gellie  to adhere the sequins to the pail. The Best Glue Ever requires a very little amount as it is really tacky and holds up really well, dries clear so is perfect for projects like this. The no clog writing cap helps you aim the Glue at the right spot and saves you from wasting. The embellished gellie helped me to pick up my sequins and put them presicely in the right spot.

Once my sequins were all adhered I took my Perfect Crafting Pouch to deactivate the tackiness of the Glue that went thru the holes of the sequins. I just pounced the pouch a few times in each spot and took the stickiness away. What a fun project, it is perfect and glamorous to use as a pen holder in my craft room. Thanks for stopping by hope to see you again soon.
